Since 3DLeigh began his career as a freelance artist, his work has become recognised and respected by game publishers and he has been head hunted for sevearl big name projects on all game platforms.Leigh Christian is a largely self-taught artist who studied at East Warwickshire Art College. Discovering an aptitude for designing computer games back in 1986 whilst still at school, he and a friend ventured into an enterprise with a colleague converting arcade machine graphics for home computers such as Amiga and Spectrum. From 1987 until the present day he has worked for some of the biggest names in the computer games industry including Eidos, Codemasters, Empire and most recently Electronic Arts in Vancouver - taking a leading role as a concept, 3D and texture artist. In addition to his on-screen skills, over the last 4 years Leigh has been applying his artistic ability to canvas and working in his old East London studio and now his downtown vancouver studio has produced a collection of mixed media contemporary artworks which have sold world wide.(see Gallery).
