Born in Coventry, UK, Leigh Christian Lives and works in Vancouver, Canada. A veteran of 15 yrs behind the decks, Leighs influence expanded to encompass deep Chicago house, minimal Detroit techno and soulful New York garage with equal enthusiasm.
His Other interests are 70s, 80s soul, disco, funk and Rock. After spending the last 10 yrs in London he has become very familiar with its infamous club scene and has had the privilege to play at some of its leading nightclubs including the Ministry of sound, Home and Cafe de Paris. He has also held a 2 year residency at celebrity hangout Abigails Party in the heart of Londons Soho.
Looking for the next step he moved onto running his own after party. Twisted was a Sunday afternoon session which fast became a fixture for the in crowd. And not entirely satisfied with what was being offered in clubland, Leigh kicked off gigs in his own backyard. His east London studio was transformed at night into an underground dance party where surprise DJs included the Mixologists, Tony Montana and the Cuban Boys.
At bars and clubs Leighs infectious sets are guaranteed not only to suit the mood of the night in question but also to lift the crowd and get them moving. A versatile DJ, Leigh is as comfortable playing clubs and bars as he is Fashion Shows and House Parties.
